“It is only with the heart that one can see rightly: what is essential is invisible to the eye.”
(Antoine de Saint-Exupéry)
On Friday, the 22nd of February, the third and fourth grade students of MS Sonntagberg, accompanied by their English teachers, went to Waidhofen/Ybbs to watch a modern adaptation of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s classic “The Little Prince”.

The story of the Little Prince’s journey from planet to planet, which has fascinated people of all ages since its first publication in 1943, was read and discussed in class beforehand. This powerful tale of friendship, humanity and imagination made students and teachers reflect on what really matters in life, even more important in current times of war and crisis. The play, brilliantly performed by four actors of Vienna’s English Theatre, filled students and teachers with enthusiasm and showed the diversity of English language learning.
